Winona Ryder is the face of Rag & Bone’s fall campaign, chosen for her “beautiful, timeless quality,†said Marcus Wainwright, managing partner of Rag & Bone. “To us, Winona Ryder is a bona-fide icon. One of the things that makes her so cool is that although she has this incredible career, she isn’t interested in being a movie star.â€
Glen Luchford shot Ryder — and actor Michael Pitt, for the men’s campaign — in Coney Island, N.Y. The campaigns will run in international editions of Vogue and GQ, as well as in issues of WSJ. Magazine, Vanity Fair, Interview, Lui and Gentlewoman.
Do you remember when Winona did Drunk History a few months ago? It seems she will be doing it again.
John Lithgow has posted on his Twitter about doing something with Winona and Jack Black for Drunk History.
So much fun this past week doing #DrunkHistory with Winona Ryder Tuesday and Jack Black Friday

Can’t wait to hear more about it. Thanks, once again, Chris B for the heads up!
I was surprised today with this link to a japanese TV advertising which seems to be a documentary to be aired next November 26th at 9am (local time).
In a very bad translation from me, the program called “The Future of Spaceship Earth” will talk about the nuclear accident caused by the great East Japan Earthquake last year, and how people can environment the energy to take a better care of the planet.
On the page you can watch a 2 min video with an interview, and also an introduction to the program. Unfortunately it can’t be embed or downloaded (with sound), but I did a few screen captures. Check in our gallery, and go to www.nhk.or.jp/spaceshipearth in order to see the video.
As we announced before, last July 31 aired the episode Winona guest starred on ‘Drunk Story’. You can find now the video and screen captures up:
The full sketch will air next July 30!
One of the funniest web series to ever exist is coming to television as Comedy Central has announced an eight-episode run of the Funny or Die original, “Drunk History.â€
Drunk History first hit the web over five years ago. The premise of the short videos is simple: Someone drinks a bunch of liquor and proceeds to tell the story behind a famous historical event – the friendship of Lincoln and Douglass, Benjamin Franklin discovering electricity, Alexander Hamilton & Aaron Burr. etc.
The videos feature the drunk storyteller as narrator, but also feature dramatic recreations of the events as they unfold – as they unfold from the mouths of the drunk storytellers, of course.
The network has officially set a July 9 premiere for the web-adapted reenactment series, amid a mammoth list of guest stars that includes everyone from ‘SNL‘ vet Kristen Wiig to Winona Ryder and ‘The Internshipâ€s Owen Wilson, and that’s just to start. Episodes will run for 30 minutes and are slated to air this summer.
Check out the original sketches over Funny or Die! website.
