Now a personal opinion: it’s always amazing to see Winona doing new projects. I hope more and more we can see her face around, because new projects means her in spotlight. But I am honestly tired of this “comeback” headline.
We’ve hearing it for 10 years already. Since she was cast in The Informers, and that was in 2008, we’re reading about her comeback. It’s enough, guys, she didn’t go anywhere and is working non stop on cinema and tv since then.
Winona Ryder, the iconic and talented Academy Award nominee actress, celebrated 25 years of career in 2011, and she has became an icon after her work on movies like "Heathers", "Beetlejuice", "Reality Bites", "Bram Stoker's Dracula", "Mermaids" and many more. Recently you saw her as Spock's mother in "Star Trek" and as the retired ballerina Beth in "Black Swan".

Therms are used loosely in present days… Her true comeback is Stranger Things for sure, and it will be even more true with Beetlejuice 2 which will be an even better comeback !
In this particullary case is deserved. She made a huge comeback with Stranger Things. If she made a hard campaigne and being an Award beggar like Nicole Kidman or Reese Witherspoon, or even Millie Bobby Brown or Allison Janney, probably she had gotten the Golden Globe or the Emmy in her house 4 Stranger Things. But still she has a relative low profile.-
Yeah, Stranger Things S1 was bigger to her and I understand that. But she also received attention (and nominations) for Black Swan, for Show me a Hero, even for Lois Wilson Story.
Don’t get me wrong, I love when she’s at the spotlight. But she already made her ‘comeback’, considering the time she did for herself and the path for spotlight projects. Its tiresome to read its her comeback every single new project she does.

On the contrary I think it’s a great idea 4 women, 4 the Me Too, if Winona could reinvent herself, ordinary women could reinvent thereself too.-
