Last night the SAG Awards took place in Los Angeles, and Stranger Things received the biggest prize of the night, the Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series (or simply ‘Best Drama Series’).
Winona, which rocked her best 90’s vibes in a custom Ryan Roche dress, was the sensation of the night. During David Harbour’s acceptance speech she rocked all the lovely facial expressions we love so much, and became an instant gif maker. Watch it:
Check in our gallery lots of images from last night, ALSO, pictures from Saturday night’s Netflix celebration pre-SAG. And, congratulations to all Stranger Things cast and crew.
Earlier today the Stranger Things cast was reunited at the Harmony Gold theater for a Q&A to SAG-AFTRA members. The event was live broadcast via the official Facebook page (but due the automatic redirection, not all fans was able to watch it), but you can watch the full Q&A below.
The show was also nominated for Best Drama and we had the cutest reaction ever from the adorable kids Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas), Finn Wolfhard (Mike Wheeler), and Noah Schnapp (Will). Watch it:
The 74th Golden Globe Awards, which are voted on by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, will be hosted by Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon and will air live on both coasts Sunday, Jan. 8, 2017 on NBC.
Last night Winona was guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live, still promoting Stranger Things that was just renewed for its second season.
While talking about her pre-acting jobs, she talked about babysitting Tom Waits kids. Unknowingly.
When I was about 14, I went with my friend to babysit these kids and I didn’t know whose kids they were. And they were wonderful, they were little. And in walks Tom Waits, who is like my hero. They were Tom Waits’ kids. I remember he was doing a play at the time and he didn’t have the 20 bucks and so he gave me a T-shirt from Franks Wild Years … and I was thrilled, and literally I couldn’t speak.
