“Stranger Things” Season 2 Trailer

Hello friends! Today it happened in San Diego the Stranger Things panel. Winona didn’t attend the panel (booo!) but David Harbour was there, following all kids.

Some informations about the next season (directly from /Film):

Noah Schnapp‘s character Will Byers has returned from the Upside Down and is showing a bit more bravery. We will learn how he has been affected from his time on the other side. Dacre Montgomery‘s character Billy is the new human antagonist for the second season. He mentioned he hopes he can be “scary enough” alongside the monster bad guy(s). Paul Reiser‘s character Dr. Owens is the newest addition to Hawkins lab. He comes in from the government to clean up Dr. Martin Brenner’s mess.

Here’s the Season 2 plot synopsys:

It’s 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana are still reeling from the horrors of the demagorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived.

In 1953, MKUltra came to Hawkins, Indiana and began experimentation. In 1979, Police Chief Jim Hopper returns to Hawkins. On November 6, 1983 a young boy named Will Byers vanished. Two days later, Barbara Holland also vanished. A year after Will’s return, everything seems back to normal… but a darkness lurks just beneath the surface, threatening all of Hawkins.

A trailer was also released, and you can watch it below:

Returning cast includes Winona Ryder as Joyce Byers, David Harbour as Jim Hopper, Finn Wolfhard as Mike Wheeler, Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven, Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin Henderson, Caleb McLaughlin as Lucas Sinclair, Noah Schnapp as Will Byers, Natalia Dyer as Nancy Wheeler, Charlie Heaton as Jonathan Byers, Joe Keery as Steve Harrington, Cara Buono as Karen Wheeler, Chelsea Talmadge as Carol and introducing Sadie Sink as Max, Dacre Montgomery as Billy, Linnea Berthelsen as Roman, Sean Astin as Bob Newby, Paul Reiser as Dr. Owens, Brett Gelman as Murray Bauman and Will Chase as Neil Mayfield.

Stranger Things season 2 premieres on October 27, 2017.

‘Stranger Things’ scores EMMY nomination!

The 69th annual Emmy Awards were announced today and as we was expecting (and hoping), Stranger Things scored a Best Drama nod alongside other newcomers as Westworld, The Crown, This Is Us and Handmaid’s Tale. They all will compete against veterans House of Cards and Better Call Saul.

Stranger Things also picked up an impressive 18 nominations, including Outstanding Casting for a Drama Series and Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series. Milly Bobby Brown received a very deserved nod as Supporting Actress in a Drama Series, David Harbour as Supporting Actor in a Drama Series and Shannon Purser, who plays the fan favorite Barb, received an Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series. While we’re rolling eyes for the lack of Winona in this list, we’re really happy for all the Emmy love for Stranger Things.

The Emmy Awards, hosted by Stephen Colbert, will air live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, Sept. 17 at 5 p.m. PT. on CBS.

‘Stranger Things’ Sets Season 2 Premiere Date

Netflix announced today that season two of Stranger Things will launch Oct. 27. Additionally, Netflix released a new teaser for season two which promises that “1984 only gets stranger.”

The release date and tagline are only fitting considering that, as previously revealed, the second season will take place around Halloween in 1984.

“It’s 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana are still reeling from the horrors of the Demogorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived.”

New castmembers this season include Paul Reiser, Sean Astin, Will Chase and Brett Gelman.

New ‘Stranger Things’ Promotional Photo

Netflix released today a bunch of photos of Stranger Things next season, including a new one featuring Winona Ryder.

Season two of “Stranger Things” will consist of nine episodes, all of which will be available to stream on Netflix beginning October 31.
