Winona Ryder has this problem, and as problems go it’s pretty solidly in the first-world category, she knows, but it’s a problem, still: She’ll be having a conversation with somebody—an interesting conversation, the kind two regular people have when they discover a mutual admiration for, like, Philip Roth’s American Pastoral or something. And then suddenly the person she’s having the conversation with will say something to her that reminds her that (a) she is Winona Ryder, the famous actress, and (b) nearly everyone she meets already has “this whole idea” of who she is, already thinks they know everything there is to know about her, more or less. And inevitably when this happens, she starts thinking about what it is people think they know about her, which is never a good idea, and the conversation never really recovers.

Last night was the premiere of “Black Swan” in New York City and I have just added the first photos of Winona on the red carpet! More – and HQ sized – will be added as they’re released.

Winona attended last night the 20th Annual Gotham Independent Film Awards, in NY City. She looks beautiful in a strapless, black lace t-length gown by Dolce & Gabbana.

According to Indiewire, Winona presented, alongside Jesse Eisenberg, the ‘best breakthrough performance’, won by Ronald Bronstein for his work “Daddy Longlegs”.

I added a few MQ sized pictures in our gallery. Will try to add HQ sized asap. Added something around 40 new pictures, being 24 HQ sized.

Winona was GORGEOUS last night in the screening of Black Swan at AFI festival. I was thinking it will be a little hard to find HQ pictures for you guys, but thanks to my good friend Roberta we have 100+ pictures added. Check it:

Do you remember when Winona attended last June 13th the Chicago Film Festival, to celebrate Ron Howard? We didn’t had any picture, until today. 8 HQ pictures added to the gallery.

It took me a while to add captures of this movie because I was waiting for the DVD release. Well, I’m still waiting, no notice about the DVD to be released for us on Brazil.

To Europeans visitors, the movie is out in the Netherlands (Code 2) (check at bol.com) and it comes this week to Australia (Code 4) – Thanks Simon for the heads up.

The captures will be replaced as soon I have access to a DVD copy of this movie.
