Beetlejuice – 20th Anniversary Deluxe Edition

Warner Home Video have announced the US Blu-ray Disc release of Beetlejuice (20th Anniversary Deluxe Edition) on 16th September 2008 priced at $34.99 SRP. The colourful, wildly imaginative family adventure from Tim Burton starring Michael Keaton, Alec Baldwin, Geena Davis and Winona Ryder debuts on Blu-ray, newly remastered and packaged in a lenticular o-sleeve. Extras are somewhat limited however with only three Beetlejuice cartoons from the TV series which was produced by Burton and David Geffen.

• A-Ha
• Skeletons In The Closet
• Spooky Boo-tique

The Blu-ray will also include a soundtrack sampler CD.

    I’ll wait what extras they’ll have…if it’s only the cartoons I’ll stick with my DVD as IMHO High-Def is obsolete…(-;

    Simon, I guess the cartoons will be the only extras. If I had the DVD, won’t buy it, too.
